PURPOSE: A refining method of lacquer is provide to shorten drying time and improve tensile strength. CONSTITUTION: A refining method of lacquer comprises the following steps of : adding 3 times of organic solvent in Rhus vermicifera Stokes followed by agitating at ambient temperature ; filtrating the mixture to remove dissolved urushiol ; washing the residue on the filter with the same organic solvent ; washing the residue on the filter with distilled water( under 40°C ) to obtain filtered polysaccaride solution ; condensing the filtered polysaccaride solution followed by lyophilization. 0.5-2 parts by weight of lyophilized filtered polysaccaride solution is added in Rhus vermicifera Stokes to shorten refining time.
