CIRCUIT FOR ESTIMATING SOLID STATE IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE

PURPOSE: A circuit for estimating solid state image pickup device is provided to perform an exact estimation without being affected by a noise according to a pixel increase. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for estimating solid state image pickup device comprises a solid state image pickup device(34) which picks up a test image(32) of a black and white iterated pattern between a light source(31) and a lens(33). A signal processing part(35) processes an output signal of the solid state image pickup device(34), and outputs a signal of 1H period as a process result. An analog-to-digital converter(37) converts the signal of the 1H period into a digital signal, and a calculation processing part(38) extracts a frequency of a signal amount by use of a periodicity seen from the converted data. An evaluating data output part(9) receives the processed signal to analyzes a difference between a theoretically expressible frequency and an actual expressing frequency. The data output part(9) outputs a horizontal transfer efficiency.
