PURPOSE: A switch is provided to be capable of enhancing the high reliability in operating and increasing torque by using cam drive type gears and worm gears to enable the contact/non-contact between a movable contact and a fixed contact, and of preventing the damage of the contacts using an arc proof plate. CONSTITUTION: A movable contact fixing part(18) comprises a fixed contact(12) and a movable contact(13). A plate(70) is mounted under the movable contact(13) for removing arc. A contact part(10) consists of a spring(16) fixed in a spring fixing groove(15) formed in a bottom center of a housing(11) for downwardly pushing the movable contact fixing part(18), and the housing(11) having a guide plate(14) for vertically guiding the movable contact(13). A cam operating part(20) comprises a motor(M), a plurality of gears(21,22,23) for obtaining a reduction ratio by the operation of the motor and at least two drive cams(25). A case(30) consists of a gear housing(36) and a motor housing(34).
