PURPOSE: A driving apparatus of a bicycle sprocket is provided to easily rotate a pedal even by weak force when a crank of the pedal is posed in vertical. CONSTITUTION: In driving a bicycle by rotating a pedal, a crank(11) is posed in vertical thus the stance of legs is uncomfortable and the rotation of the crank is difficult. Herein, a rotary plate(20) including the crank is rotated in a certain range of angle and the crank is out of the vertical position thus the pedal is rotated easily despite of weak force. A guide pin(21) protruded on the rotary plate is moved while pulling a tensile spring(41) in a guide groove(31) of a cover plate(30) and then stops. By the least force able to overcome the elasticity of the tensile spring, the rotary plate is rotated in the range of the guide groove. Thereby, the crank is out of the vertical position.
