PURPOSE: A method for transmitting channels is provided to transmit many information sources, by using one coder having different error characteristics according to bit positions of a frame, in a communication system. CONSTITUTION: A method for transmitting channels in a communication system comprises the steps of: applying time multiplexing processes for different information sources, and arranging the information sources in one frame; making the information sources code the frame; diffusely modulating data of the coded frame to transmit the modulated data; applying the time multiplexing processes for different user information sources; multiplexing the user information sources and signal/control information sources, and arranging the user information sources and the signal/control information sources in one frame; making the information sources code the frame; and diffusely modulating data of the coded frame to transmit the data. High-ranked information sources of the information sources are arranged in a part having better error characteristics of the frame. The signal/control information sources are arranged in the part having the better error characteristics.
