METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AND TESTING AUTOMATIC FUNCTION OF VCR SET

PURPOSE: A method for testing the functions of a VCR set is provided to perform test easily and accurately by automatically controlling various processes of the test. CONSTITUTION: A channel is alternated to a record channel for testing recording by using a remote controller(12). A recording mode is set up for recording broadcasting signals transmitted from a certain record channel. Recording is stopped after a certain period, and a rewind mode is selected. A VCR set is played for testing a recording state by a TV SET(5). To test BISS operation after the certain period, the channel is altered to an empty channel. The BISS operation is tested by a video tape(T) recorded in the empty channel. The channel is altered to test an RF(radio frequency) monitor. The monitor state of broadcasting signals in the altered channel is tested via the TV set. The channel alternation and the RF monitor test are repeated for every channel.
