PURPOSE: A snout is provided to prevent an adherence of impurities inside the snout in a strip at a coating of melted metals such as a coating of melted zinc, an alloyed coating of melted zinc, a coating of melted aluminum, an alloyed coating of melted zinc-aluminum and so on. CONSTITUTION: In a snout(2) immersed inside a coating bath and passed a strip transferred for coating, a preventing device of adherence(4) formed in an inner wall of the snout and having a protrusion in a upper part is formed. A coating solution and impurities(7) are fallen to a lower part of the preventing device of adherence by reducing a height of the protrusion than a water level of the coating solution. Impurities accumulated outside portion of the adherence preventing device are discharged through a ventilating device. A steel plate coated with molten metal having a fine appearance is produced by preventing the adherence of impurities.
