PURPOSE: A video conference network is provided to perform a panel-type video conference efficiently by connecting the ISDN and the terminals capable of processing media information of the LAN standard. CONSTITUTION: A plural ISDN/LAN video terminals(203,206) are connected in parallel with to an ISDN(205) to which plural ISDN video terminals are connected in parallel. Each of the ISDN/LAN video terminals(203, 206) is connected to a LAN(207). Plural LAN video terminals(208,209) are connected in parallel to the LAN(207). The ISDN/LAN video terminals(203, 206) switch a communication path between panels and viewers transmit media information of respective standards(H.320, H323), thereby to perform a panel-type video conference efficiently.
