PURPOSE: A deterioration sensing apparatus of a condenser bank is provided to prevent a breakdown of short-term condensers during driving by seizing an overall state of the short-term condensers. CONSTITUTION: A deterioration sensing apparatus of a condenser bank comprises a detection part, a circuit part(A) and a display part(B). The detection part consists an induce coil(5), a contact preventing plate(4), three output terminals(9) and three volt meters(6,7,8). The induce coil(5) detects a voltage induced at a discharge coil(2), and the contact preventing plate(4) electrically isolates the discharge coil(5) and the induce coil(4). The contact preventing plate(4) is installed in a discharge coil box. The volt meters(6,7,8) measure voltages between two pair of output terminals(9) which are connected to the induce coil(5). The circuit part(A) changes variations of the measured voltages into a state of a condenser bank and a deterioration progressive degree, and compares the changes value with a reference value of a perfectly discharged short-term condenser. The display part(B) displays a judgement value corresponding to a condenser stage comprising a condenser of the compared value.
