PURPOSE: An electric dust collection apparatus for air conditioner is provided to allow the dust collection apparatus to be easily cleaned-up and assembled/disassembled in an easy manner by arranging a plurality of dust collectors of the apparatus in a scroll type. CONSTITUTION: An electric dust collection apparatus(90) comprises first and second support frames(100) fixed at the both lower walls within a main body(10); first and second accommodation members(130,131) arranged at a predetermined spacing from each other between first and second frames, in such a manner that each lower end of first and second accommodation members is hinged by first and second hinge axes(120,121) so as to horizontally move and at the same time rotate, being inclined backward; and first and second electric dust collectors(150,151) formed of a pair of scroll type collectors with small size and light weight for ease of assembly/disassembly. First and second electric dust collects are inserted into first and second accommodation members through upper openings of first and second accommodation members.
