PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to prevent the failure or damage to a driving device and washing articles due to an overload of a pulsator by agitating the washing articles in the state that the pulsator is stopped on washing. CONSTITUTION: A drain hole(134) is formed to drain washing water in a washing reservoir(130) on one side of the bottom of a lower main body(133) of a washing reservoir(130). An exhaust hole(136) is formed to exhaust the washing water into the washing reservoir from the drain hole(134) on the other side of the lower main body(133). An inlet port(124) is formed to receive the washing water drained from the drain hole(134) of the washing reservoir(130) on one side of the bottom of the water reservoir(120). An outlet port(126) is formed to supply the washing water to the exhaust hole(134).
