PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing an attached ore in a rotary kiln is provided to improve productivity of kiln, to prevent equipment damage and to enhance the quality of limestone by keeping the inner part of the kiln clean. CONSTITUTION: An accumulated position of coating ore is recognized by a temperature distribution measurer, and control data is input in a system controller. A control signal is output to an electromotor driver from the system controller so that a pusher electromotor is driven by the electromotor driver. On rotation of a driving gear, a gear line(11) is moved by butting with a driving gear and a pusher(14) is forwarded up to a deposition position of the coating ore. The coating ore is removed by an air hammer(15) combined on a front end, and the pusher is straightly moved inside the rotary kiln by a roller(16). Since two cooling water supply lines and drain lines are installed to endure in the kiln at more than 100°C, the pusher is not damaged by heat. Further, a rotary encoder counts the processed distance of the pusher and feeds it to the system controller so that the position of the pusher is precisely controlled.
