METHOD FOR DISPLAYING CAPTION WINDOW OF ATV SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for displaying a caption window of an ATV(Advanced Television) system is provided to display accurately caption window screens by considering prior orders of caption windows. CONSTITUTION: A method for displaying a caption window of an ATV system comprises the steps of: detecting and storing information about sizes and locations of windows for defined caption windows of caption windows of N number; determining whether overlapped areas are generated among the caption windows by using the information about sizes and locations of windows; detecting prior orders by an identifier of the window if overlapped areas are generated among the caption windows; and displaying the caption windows on a screen according to the detected prior orders.
