METHOD FOR SEALING PDP USING ELECTROSTATIC SEALING METHOD

PURPOSE: A method for sealing a PDP using an electrostatic sealing method is provided to seal a front substrate and a rear substrate in a manufacturing process of a PDP. CONSTITUTION: A method for sealing a PDP using an electrostatic sealing method comprises the following steps. An aluminium pattern(33) is formed on a first substrate(32) in order to perform a sealing process. The first substrate and a second substrate(31) are adhered to each other. A terminal is formed to apply a power to the aluminium pattern. The first and the second substrates are adhered closely to each other. A thermal process for the first and the second substrates is performed. An electric field is formed between the aluminium layer and the second substrate in order to form an Al2O3. The first substrate and the second substrate are sealed by forming the Al2O3.
