PURPOSE: An emergency call connection method in a private branch exchange is provided to connect an originating call though an authorization code is not input or an originating call is restricted if a user dials an emergency call. CONSTITUTION: An emergency call connection method comprises steps of making a controller check if a digit is input from a subscriber terminal through a line connector(210), making the controller check if the input digit is registered in an emergency phone number table(220), making the controller connect an extension terminal with the emergency phone number in case that the input digit is registered in the table(230), making the controller check if an authorization code is input in case that the input digit is not registered in the table(240), generating an error tone or an error message in case that the authorization code is not input(250), checking the service rate in case that the authorization code is input(260), checking if an originating call service is restricted corresponding to the service rate(270), forming a call dialed from the subscriber terminal if the originating call service is not restricted(280) and generating an error tone or an error message in case that the originating call service is restricted(290).
