PURPOSE: A method for fixing spacers of a field emission display element is provided to increase adhering force for holding spacers to maintain a uniform distance between upper and lower boards, thereby improve the operational property of the element using a high voltage power supply. CONSTITUTION: A method for fixing spacers of a field emission display element includes the steps of forming an intermediate layer at a predetermined part for forming line type spacers(15) on an upper board(11), forming a hard mask provided with spacer aligning grooves on the board, adhering spacers on the intermediate layer via the spacer aligning grooves of the hard mask to be protruded outside an emission area(13) of the field emission display element, and removing the hard mask and fixing the protruded part with flint glass(17), wherein the intermediate layer is formed with the flint glass. |
