MEMORANDUM APPARATUS AND METHOD OF TELEVISION

PURPOSE: A memorandum method of a television is provided to facilitate taking a note and saving the note into a memory through a television by inputting and saving characters during watching the television. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of: judging whether there are key inputs of a viewer for memorandum during watching a television(ST100); continuing a television watching function if there is no key input for the memorandum as a judgement result and receiving key input signals with respect to memorandum characters transmitted from a remote controller if there are the key inputs(ST130); displaying combined characters in the on-screen display according to the key input signals(ST160); and storing the contents displayed on the screen into a memory if desired(ST180).
