PURPOSE: Animal liver fibrosis is induced by repeated administration of allylalcohol. Thereby, laboratory animals are prepared to help comprehension and study of chronic hepatic diseases. CONSTITUTION: Liver fibrosis of animal is induced by controlling dose, and frequency and period of administration. 0.5-0.7 mmole/kg of allylalcohol is administrated to white mice twice or three times a week for more than 8 weeks to induce liver fibrosis.
