DEVICE FOR MEASURING LEVEL OF MOLTEN MATERIAL IN BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE: A device for measuring the level of molten material in a blast furnace is provided to endure external noise by obtaining large voltage signal and to stably measure the level of the molten material for a long period. CONSTITUTION: A carbon bar(9) is inserted into a carbon brick(7) having a tap for being rotationally attached. And, a copper bar(10) is connected with a signal cable(11) for collecting voltage signals in a computer(15) after passing through an amplifier(14). Herein, the space between the carbon bar and the carbon brick is filled with carbon. Moreover, a splash preventing plate(3) is installed for preventing the infiltration of cooling water sprayed to an iron surface. Then, a K-typed thermocouple is installed at the same location with the splash preventing plate for checking the temperature of the carbon brick.
