METHOD FOR PRODUCING FERRITE 430 STAINLESS WIRE ROD OF EXCELLENT COLD PROCESSING PROPERTY

PURPOSE: A method is provided to produce ferrite 430 stainless wire rod of excellent cold processing property. CONSTITUTION: A wire rod is produced by a cold wire drawing processing step and an annealing thermal treatment process. At the cold wire drawing processing step, a wire rod produced by a hot rolling and thermally treated or annealed after a first wire drawing process is processed at low temperature by 7-16% of entire drawing reducing ratio. At the annealing thermal treatment process, the wire rod finished with the wire drawing processing step is annealed thermally at temperatures of 770-820°C for 20-40sec. Thereby, a ferrite 430 stainless wire rod having excellent cool processing property is obtained.
