PURPOSE: A memory connection device of an MPEG video decoder is provided to connect data between an MPEG-2 video encoder and a memory by using buffers of minimum number. CONSTITUTION: A memory connection device of an MPEG video decoder comprises a first storage portion(211), a second storage portion(212), a third storage portion(213), a fourth storage portion(214), a fifth storage portion(215), a sixth storage portion(216), and a storage control portion(217). The first storage portion stores temporally original video data and transmits the stored original video data to a memory according to a predetermined time. The second storage portion stores temporally the original video data from the memory and transmits the stored original video data to an MPEG video encoder according to the predetermined time. The third storage portion stores temporally recovered video data from the MPEG video encoder and transmits the stored recovered video data to the memory according to the predetermined time. The fourth storage portion stores temporally the recovered video data from the memory and transmits the stored recovered video data to the MPEG video encoder according to the predetermined time. The fifth storage portion stores temporally coded bit stream from the MPEG video encoder and transmits the stored coded bit stream to the memory according to the predetermined time. The sixth storage portion stores temporally the bit stream from the memory and outputs the bit stream according to the predetermined time. The storage control portion provides an address signal for reading the stored data. |
