VOLTAGE MULTIPLIER HAVING A PRECHARGING FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A voltage multiplier having a pre-charging function is provided to prevent the unstability of a circuit due to the abrupt rising of a voltage by carrying out the precharging by the source voltage before outputting a high voltage. CONSTITUTION: A precharging circuit(60) carries out the precharging by the source voltage before outputting a high voltage. The precharging circuit(60) is constituted with an inverter(61) having a PMOS transistor(61a) and an NMOS transistor(61b) connected in series between a power source terminal(VCC) and a ground terminal(VSS), and an NOR gate(62) applies an input signal to the gate terminals of the PMOS transistor(61a) and the NMOS transistor(61b) constructing the inverter(61), to thereby prevent the unstability of a circuit due to the abrupt rising of a voltage.
