PURPOSE: A method for converting an account number using a permanent number is provided to be capable of transacting in all financial transaction offices with use of only one account number, without memorizing each account number of financial offices which a client deals actually. CONSTITUTION: A method for converting an account number using a permanent number, comprises the steps of: receiving a permanent number, a password thereof and transaction request information from a terminal; converting the permanent number and the password into an account number and a password of a corresponding transaction office; and transmitting the received transaction request information and the converted account number and password, to a corresponding transaction office.
