PURPOSE: A power reservation on/off device for a television receiver is provided to perform a power reservation on/off operation when a person is in a house. CONSTITUTION: A power reservation on/off device for a television receiver includes a power portion(102), a switching portion(104), a first and second sensors(106,108), a storing portion(110), a control portion(112) and a key input portion(114). The switching portion transfers a power generated from the power portion to the television receiver in response to a selection signal(Sc). The first sense is installed on an outside of a door and senses a person passing through the door. The second sense is installed on an inside of the door and senses the person passing through the door. The storing portion stores frequencies of entrance and exit. The control portion receives the frequencies of entrance and exit and transfers to the storing portion. In a state of power reservation on or off time applied, when the frequency of entrance plus a predetermined initial value is same as the frequency of exit the control portion let the power reservation on/off operation stop, when the frequency of entrance plus a predetermined initial value is different from the frequency of exit the control portion let the power reservation on/off operation perform. The key input portion applies the predetermined initial value into the control portion. |
