PURPOSE: Provided is a process for producing concrete tiles which are bonded to the floor using a normal setting layer of cement mortar, without problems of detachment. CONSTITUTION: In the process for producing concrete tiles using cutting a block of concrete mixture, the block of mixture is subjected to a preliminary treatment at ambient pressure for a duration of at least 24 hours until the compression strength reaches a value of at least 20 MPa, and to a second treatment with steam in an autoclave. The preliminary treatment consists of curing at ambient temperature and the treatment with steam in an autoclave is effective at 100-150 deg.C.
