DATA INTERFACE METHOD OF PDP TV

PURPOSE: A data interface method of PDP TV is provided to greatly decrease the number of data drivers using meal filtering and expansion method of pixel data of line unit. CONSTITUTION: A data interface method of PDP TV comprises steps of: filtering A/D converted line data into only even or odd pixel data to generate filtered odd or even line data in response to filtering control signals based horizontal and vertical synchronous signals filtered from input image signals; sequentially copying respective pixel data in the filtered line data to expand the filtered odd or even line data into the sizes before filtering; restructuring one field data consisted in expanded odd and even line data into N sub field data consisting of addressing and sustain periods; and simultaneously addressing two pixel data of the restructured sub field to two addressing lines through respective output pin in respective data driver.
