PURPOSE: An editing method by using a voice recognizing in mobile terminal is provided to edit without using a key input part when the user edits a phone number or a schedule. CONSTITUTION: An editing method by using voice recognition consists of five steps. At a first step, a mobile terminal checks whether the character input mode is selected or not. At a second step, if the mode is selected, the user input a voice. At a third step, if the voice data are in the memory, the characters are displayed. At a fourth step, if data for correction are not input, the voice data are stored. At a fifth step, if the data corresponding to the input data of the third step do not exist, a warning message is displayed and the step goes back to the second step.
