PURPOSE: A method for updating a software of a network computer is provided to executing a downloaded software, without rebooting and with downloading parts just shifted of class files, when the software is updated at a server. CONSTITUTION: A method for updating a software of a network computer comprises the steps of: stopping execution of a present application program by an updated command of a server, deciding whether the updated program is existed in the server; opening a zip file stream from the server according to a zip file stream request; downloading file which is shifted or made(S3); deciding whether the updated program is existed more; repeating the S3 if the updated program is existed more; and continuing on the stopped application program, closing the zip file stream, if not.
