RATE ADAPTIVE DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER LINE REMOTE TERMINAL INTERFACE

PURPOSE: A rate adaptive digital subscriber remote terminal(RADSL_RT) interface is provided to be able to transfer data without needing a software and hardware setting or a separate LAN card. CONSTITUTION: An RADSL_RT interface comprises a digital phase locked loop circuit(41) which generates a phase locked loop clock signal and receives data through an universal serial bus(USB) connection part(50) according to the clock signal. A serial/parallel converting part(42) is operated responsive to the clock signal, and converts parallel data from the circuit(41) into serial data. The serial/parallel converting part(42) converts inputted serial data into parallel data. An application interface(45) interfaces between an USB bridge(44) and a field programmable gate array(FPGA)(30). An end point information part(43) maintains information of an address pointer. The USB bridge(44) consists of a protocol part(44A) and an end point control part(44B). The protocol part(44A) matches data transferred from/to the serial/parallel converting part(42) with data transferred from/to the FPGA(30). The end point control part(44B) controls a transfer between the protocol part(44A) and the end point information part(43).
