PURPOSE: A menu service method is provided to offer a high end multimedia menu service in an information service system using a menu server. CONSTITUTION: A menu service method comprises steps of a service connector receiving a user's call connection request(201), accessing a menu server(202), the menu server offering a menu for the user via the service connector(203), certifying which the user selects among a menu, an information service or a service stop(204), offering a correspondent menu if the user selects a menu(205), transmitting an information service access request to the service connector if the user selects the information service(206), making the service connector access the information service system(207), making the information service system offer the information service for the user(208), certifying if the user requests a stop of the information service to the information service system(209), transmitting an information service access release message to the service connector if the information service system receives the service stop request(210), making the service connector access the menu server(211), and making the menu server offer a menu prior to the access of the information service system(212).
