PURPOSE: A digital modem circuit of a communication system is provided to decrease current's usage being generated while data is received, by disabling other circuits until new data are inputted, except circuits related to process of received data, after receiving data which an error is not generated during receiving data. CONSTITUTION: A digital modem circuit of a communication system comprises a radio frequency processor(200), an intermediate frequency processor(300), a base band analog processor(400), and a digital modem circuit(500). The radio frequency processor(200) processes an analog signal, which has a radio frequency and is received via an antenna corresponding to a first and second sleep signals, into the analog signal with an intermediate frequency. The intermediate frequency processor(300) controls gain of the analog signal with the intermediate frequency. The base band analog processor(400) converts the analog signal into data having a base frequency. The digital modem circuit(500) has a recover(510), a data decoder(520), an interrupt signal generator(530), a Central Processing Unit(CPU)(540), and a sleep control circuit(550). The recover(510) recovers the data of the base band analog processor(400). The data decoder(520) decodes the data. The interrupt signal generator(530) generates an interrupt signal and a wake-up signal corresponding to the data. The CPU(540) operates and then outputs the decoding data to a CODEC. The sleep control circuit(550) outputs a first sleep signal corresponding to the interrupt signal, and a second sleep signal corresponding to the wake-up signal.
