METHOD FOR GENERATING DIGITAL EVALUATION MODEL BY CROSS POINT SAMPLING

PURPOSE: A method for generating a digital evaluation model(DEM) by a cross point sampling is provided to generate the DEM by sampling the cross points of a DEM graticule with use of contour information of vector data, The method is provided to reduce a data generation processing time and to ensure accuracy of a result. CONSTITUTION: A method for generating a digital evaluation model(DEM) by a cross point sampling, comprises the steps of: initializing and setting an variable value according to an area to generate the DEM; storing and arranging cross point information of a contour crossed with a given graticule; searching a cross point having a specific distance and a standard graticule point, in each quadrant; interpolating a height value; and storing the interpolated height value in a file.
