PURPOSE: A method for an electrolytic capacitor is provided to manufacture an electrolytic capacitor of a large capacitance by forming an electric double layer with the use of conducting polymer. CONSTITUTION: An electrode-activating material having active carbon as a main component is coated on a Nickel mesh. The coated Nickel mesh is electrolytically polymerized on a monomer solution of the conducting polymer to produce a new conducting polymer in pores. A capacitance by the electric double layer of the active carbon and a pseudo capacitance using the redox of the conducting polymer are used. Polypyrrole, polyaniline, or polyacene are used as the conducting polymer, to thereby manufacture an electrolytic capacitor of a large capacitance. |
