PURPOSE: A structure of an impact beam for a bumper is provided to have the resistant force according to a sectional breakdown and to reduce a producing cost and a weight by improving a sectional structure of the impact beam. CONSTITUTION: An impact beam is equipped with a pair of closed sectional rib portions(102)(104) symmetric in an upper and a lower part. A middle bonding rib portion(106) to connect the closed sectional rib portions(102)(104) in the middle and a upper and a lower bonding rib portions(110)(112) extended in the closed sectional rib portions(102)(104) are contained. The closed sectional rib portions(102)(104) are equipped with a front and a rear walls(101A,101B), and a upper and a lower walls(103A,103B). The upper and the lower walls(103A,103B) have a certain inclination and a radius. Bent flange portions(130A,130B) are contained in the upper and the lower bonding rib portions(110,112).
