PURPOSE: A structure of a front longitudinal member of a vehicle is provided to promote lightness of a frame and to enhance safety of a vehicle by minimizing transformation through absorption of impact energy with a cross-type reinforcing member. CONSTITUTION: A front longitudinal member is formed in a lengthwise straight shape and coupled with each flange(102a,104a) of outer/inner panels(102,104). The front longitudinal member has a hexagonal hollow(106) and a hexagonal expanded sectional area. To reinforce rigidity, a flat surface is mounted on the inner wall of the outer panel with a gap between the inner/outer panels. The front longitudinal member induces axial collapse in a collision of a vehicle and resisting force is supplied to the front longitudinal member to minimize transformation of the member.
