METHOD FOR RECORDING/PLAYBACK OF MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM FOR LONG TIME

PURPOSE: A magnetic recording/playing method of long time is provided to prevent an omission of an important image signal and to improve the economical efficiency by increasing a density of image signal recorded in a tape. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic recording medium is traveled at a low speed under 1/5 of a reference traveling speed. An inputted outer image signal is processed with a field unit. The signal-processed image signal is outputted with a head for recording for a long time having a narrower width than a head for three times mode and recorded in the magnetic recording medium. In requesting the recording of 24hours such as a CCTV for monitoring, an omission of the important image signal by loosing a shifting time of tape is prevented. The economic efficiency is improved by increasing a density of the image signal recorded in the tape.
