摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable laser beam of high power and quality at a low cost. SOLUTION: Exciting chambers 2-a and 2-b are each provided with laser crystal slabs 1-a and 1-b, a slab-like transparent optical connector 9-1 equipped with parallel edge faces is provided in a space between the crystal slabs 1-a and 1-b, providing narrow gaps between parallel edge faces, the exciting chambers 2-a and 2-b and the transparent optical connector 9-a are fixed separately to an optical bench 70 with holders 71-a, 71-b, and 74, and the exciting chambers 2-a and 2-b and the transparent optical connector 9-1 can be finely corrected on axis. The parallel edge faces opposed to each other through a narrow gap may be vertical to an optical axis, and in this case, the output of a crystal can be effectively utilized. Furthermore, an optical connector can be provided between the laser crystal slabs 1-a and 1-b and a total reflecting mirror 5, and a partial reflecting mirror 6. The optical connector 9-1 can be deliberately given a temperature distribution or a nonlinear acousto-optic effect so as to actively or fixedly control a laser beam.
