PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the selection of a broadcasting station and secure time correction operation by using a radio receiver capable of controlling a receiving frequency, and selecting one broadcasting station from a record storing means for storing the frequency of the broadcasting station transmitting a time information signal classified by regions on the basis of the region input by a region input means to receive the radio wave. SOLUTION: A time information detection means 11 detects time information out of voice signals 41 demodulated by a detection means 9. A timepiece 15 generates a time information detection signal 87 when the time information detection means 11 detects the time information, and the counter of the timepiece 15 is corrected to a positive time by a time correction means 13. A code storing means 25 stores the frequency code of a broadcasting station transmitting the time information by regions. A region input means 33 holds region information selected by a user as a region number. A station selection specifying means 23 has a station selection number counter specifying any one out of frequency codes stored by a storing means 25 by regions. A code selection means 31 selects the frequency code of the region from the storing means 25. |
