PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustment value setting system of an electronic equipment in which a process, that puts the adjustment value at the completion of a self diagnosis to an initial setting, is eliminated and an initial setting is surely realized when a main power supply is turned on next time. SOLUTION: A center unit 1 is provided to be connected to a CD player 2, an MD player 3, a self-diagnosis unit 5 and a main power supply by a bus 4 and a main power supply line 6. A back up battery 10, a power supply circuit 11, a control circuit 12, a volatile memory 13, a nonvolatile memory 14, a transmitting and receiving section 15 and an operating section 16 are provided in the unit 1. The circuit 12 is provided with an adjustment value controlling means 12a, a connection confirmation means 12b, a connecting condition discriminating means 12c, an adjustment value changing means 12d, and a suppressing means 12e. Control circuits 20, 30 and 50, identification number storage sections 21, 31 and 51 and transmitting and receiving sections 22, 32 and 52 are provided to the players 2 and 3 and the unit 5, respectively.
