PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably cange a constant amount of a gasified reagent to dissolve in a sample solution. SOLUTION: In this method, a liquid reagent 8 for adjusting a pH accommodated in a closed bottle 7 is gasified by bubbling a carrier gas. The gasified reagent is added to a sample solution in a pH adjustment chamber 15 and an addition of the gasified reagent to a sample solution such that the gasified reagent is dissolved to the sample solution is carried out. In this case, the sample solution supplied to the pH adjustment chamber 15 is used as a heat source, and a temperature control of the liquid reagent 8 in a bottle is carried out by the heat energy. Thereby, both the temperatures of the sample solution and the liquid reagent 8 are made to approach each other.
