PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dissolution of Co from LiCoO2 particles. SOLUTION: This battery comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a nonaqueous electrolyte, and uses, as a positive electrode active material, lithium-cobalt composite oxide(LiCo1-xMxOy) particles on each surface of which a lithium-nickel-cobalt composite oxide (LiNi1-x-y, CoxMyOz) is formed as coating. |
