PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a defect in display due to foreign matter by easily removing the foreign matter of the display area of a liquid crystal display panel without disassembling a liquid crystal display module. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with the liquid crystal display module 1 constituted by putting a transmission type liquid crystal display panel 3 having a display area A for displaying information in a case 2 and a removing member 10 which is electrostatically charged and attracts and moves foreign matter G on its back side through the liquid crystal display panel 3 with the static electricity. Therefore, when the removing member 10 is put close to the front side of the liquid crystal display panel 3, the foreign matter G on the back side is attracted through the liquid crystal panel 3 with the static electricity of the removing member 10, which is moved out of the display area A of the liquid crystal display panel 3 in this state, so that the foreign matter G also moves out of the display area A. Consequently, the foreign matter G can be removed out of the display area A of the liquid crystal display panel 3 without disassembling the liquid crystal display panel 3 and a display defect caused by the foreign matter G can be prevented.
