PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable pseudo-on-line operation on a portable computer by providing a radio part which synchronizes information received from the portable computer with that of a source server when the control radio wave of a base station can be received. SOLUTION: When the control radio wave sent from the base station 4 can not be received, the radio part 2 functions as a proxy server according to a control program. Namely, the radio part 2 functions as a client for the source server 8 and as the proxy server for the portable personal computer(PC) 9 and the same information with the source server 8 is stored in a memory 23. Namely, the radio part 2 when receiving the control radio wave of the base station 4 synchronizes the information received from the PC 9 with that of the source server 8 through the base station 4. Thus, the radio part 2 functions as the proxy server for the PC 9 in an area that the radio wave does not reach and serves as a MODEM to communicate with the source server 8.
