<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of AC generator for idling stop and start vehicle in which exciting current flow into an AC generator is blocked during engine stop while preventing damage of an IC regulator or dying of battery. SOLUTION: Plus terminal of a battery 8 is connected directly with B terminal 6 of an AC generator 1 and connected through a key switch 11 and a relay 14 with L terminal 7 and R terminal 9. The relay 14 is opened by an ECU (engine control unit) 15 when the engine r.p.m. decreases below 400 r.p.m. to block current flow into a field coil 3 from the battery 8.</p> |
