PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device of high performance which prevents an inverted image from being formed by replacing a document to read an image, without storing image information in a memory. SOLUTION: When an image is read from a reversely carried document in a read position, the document is read from the rear end, while being reversely carried, and a main scanning direction ends up being opposite to the normal direction. Therefore, data which are normally transferred in serial from lower bits is transferred serially from upper bits (that is, the data sending direction is inverted) at serial transfer, after a one-line portion of data are read in parallel by a main scanning inversion means 71, and the inverted data are sent to a recording part 63 after image processing and is printed out on a recording paper. |
