PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the visibility by preventing the occurrence of a ghost. SOLUTION: A timing setting circuit 40 is provided on a glass substrate 10 to set the timing of X clock signals XC which are outputted to an X side shift register 22 by an X side timing control circuit 34. During the inspection of display quality conducted in a liquid crystal panel step, deviation between analog switch timing control signals and video signals VS is detected and the circuit 40 is set so that both signals are matched with each other. Since the circuit 34 outputs the signals XC based on the setting, the timings of the analog switch timing control signals and the signals VS are matched with each other, and the visibility of the device is improved.
