PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling regenerative braking of a motor- driven car, capable of controlling regenerative charging current and braking torque even at high speed and ultrahigh speed range. SOLUTION: By controlling switch elements Su-Sw on the upper side and switch elements Sx-Sz on the lower side of an inverter circuit 6 when the brake is applied to a car, in such a way that field-adjusting AC voltages which have the same frequency with the induced voltages of armature coils Au-Aw and specified phase angles to the induced voltages are impressed from batteries 3 to the armature coils through the inverter circuit 6, the phase angles of the field adjusting AC voltages are made to change to the delay or advance side. Thus, flux interlinking in the armature coils is increased or decreased, so that regenerative charging current and braking torque are controlled. |
