PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a current-carrying characteristic and an insulation characteristic. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic relay has a fixed contact terminal member 70 and a moving contact terminal member 60, respectively connected to fixed contacts 77 and moving contacts 53 for opening and closing through excitation or demagnetization of a coil wire 24. A lead wire connection part piece 71 of the fixed contact terminal member 70 is insert-molded with a resin-molded base 10, a head part 74b of a lead wire attaching bolt 74 is embedded in a left side surrounding wall 16 of the base 10, while a lead wire connection part piece 61 of the moving contact terminal member 60 is also insert-molded with the base 10, and a head part 64b of a lead wire attaching bolt 64 is embedded in a right side surrounding wall 17 of the base 10. Thereby, since lead wires are tightly stuck to the terminal members 70, 60 to reduce the contact resistance, the bolt head parts 74b, 64b are not exposed to secure insulation, and insulation is cusured.
