PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system which enables a user to safely obtain the output result of secret information, etc., printed on a printer that the user shares in office environment without exposing it to the eyes of other users. SOLUTION: Information which instructs the inhibition of the print output of print data until print output instruction information is detected in the printing data is held, and the printing process is controlled so that the printing system holds the printing data without starting the printing process when receiving a primary printing output instruction and then starts printing the printing data for the 1st time when receiving printing output instruction information for the held printing data.
