PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the lighting display device which uses a light source, such as a laser or light emitting diode, emitting collimated light and shows the track of a light beam in an optical medium. SOLUTION: This lighting display device uses the optical medium molded out of a material, obtained by dispersing particles having a different refractive index from a transparent base material in the base material, in a necessary shape, a light source is combined, and the track formed by scattering the light made incident on the optical medium from the light source by the particles is displayed in the optical medium. In this case, the particles have diameters nearly equal to or less than the wavelength of the incident light.
